Every now and again a commission comes along which is out of Tamsin’s creative comfort zone and pushes artistic boundaries with her beloved clay. She relishes the challenge to come up with ceramic solutions for new spaces and in this case it was an incredibly impressive entrance hall.  Because of the curve in the wall a large framed installation would not suffice.  After much consideration & planning, a porcelain mural consisting of almost 600 flowers, each individually and delicately handcrafted, was fixed directly to the wall.  The result was impactful but not overpowering.  Beautifully brave but considerate to this already stunning space.
